DESCRIPTION:

Mineral processing operations make use of mine waters with high dissolved

and suspended solids levels, which combined with elevated or low pH's

conditions will result in process scaling/deposition if left untreated. The

areas that are typically affected by scaling are the mill/process water lines

and pumps, tailings-return water lines, leach and strip circuits, gravity

recovery circuit, screens and sprays, etc.
